| Lizette Patterson, Age Group Coach @ Southwestern College | |
|
Lizette Patterson began swimming at a young age with Canyons Aquatic Club in
the Greater Los Angeles area. Through her years of swimming she
accomplished many goals including competing at the National Level and on a
Division 1 Collegiate Swim Team (SDSU). Lizette is finishing her last
year at SDSU and is excited to be coaching with South Bay Aquatics.
Through her years of swimming she came to realize the importance of a good
coach and wants to provide that same positive and rewarding experience for
her swimmers. Swimming was something that always pushed her in the
right direction and helped her keep focus throughout her life.
"My goal for swimmers is to improve their times, while still enjoying the sport. I believe that swimmers who work hard can accomplish whatever they put their minds to. I find it highly important for each practice and meet to be fun, but at the same time move up and improve in the swimming world. Swimming can do so much for a person by building a great work ethic and I plan to be the coach that leads my swimmers in the right direction and gives them a passion and love for the sport just like I have!" |
